What date did you get married? 30/04/2011
Where did you meet? We met at work 8 years ago now.
Where did he propose? I had just returned from 8 days in China with work, I think we both realised how much we missed each it. Matt proposed at home and I immediately said yes.
Where did you get married? We got married in Breadsall Church, it is a beautiful Church near to where we live, we are in Breadsall parish, the Church community was very welcoming and friendly.
Where was your reception? Breadsall Priory, not too far from the Church, gorgeous settings for photographs. We had fantastic service, food was delicious, staff were excellent.
Who was your caterer? Breadsall Priory.

Tell us about your wedding rings. Ernest Jones, both white gold.
Tell us about your cake. As a wedding present three of my friends organised it. One section was fruit cake and one sponge. It was delicious. It was white with orange calla lilies on the top to match the flowers and butterflies on the side to match the theme.
Who supplied your flowers, what did you have? A lady from my mum’s flower club sorted the flowers. Stunning. The men had white roses and Matt and the dads had calla lilies. I had a mixture of white flowers with orange lilies, bridesmaids had orange calla lilies, the mums had individual pieces.
Who designed your dress and where did it come from? A little shop in Sudbury that was closing down unfortunately, beautiful dress.
What shoes did you wear? The same shop.
Who did your make-up? Brides make up and brides mum was done by a makeup lady, she was amazing Tina. Bride, mum and aunt’s hair was done at Saks Derby, Bridesmaids at Finlays in Heage village. Yes would recommend them all.
Did you have cars? if so what and who supplied them? Can’t remember the name but they were fantastic company. Performed plenty of trial runs, picked up the lads took them to the pub then to the church, then picked up the bridal party. Had a morgan.
What was your first dance to and why? Eva Cassidy Songbird, very special to us both.
How long were you in planning your wedding? 6 months.
Were you on budget? Yes.
What advice would you give a couple planning their wedding? Enjoy it, I had an amazing time arranging my wedding and loved the whole day. would do it all over again.
What is the brides most memorable part of the day? The whole day was amazing, the venues, the sunshine, photographer, staff at both venues, amazing family and friends and most importantly my wonderful husband.
What is the grooms most memorable part of the day? The whole day.
